OCT Podcast: Hello from New York (Ep. #1)

This is the first Podcast for Operation Cross Training. Focus on the most important person on this planet, which is my wife, who agreed to be the first guest.

There was no plan, no big topics, just us coming to you from Times Square, New York during our 10 year anniversary being transparent about marriage and providing an introduction to the podcast.

We discuss how we do not have a perfect marriage but feel led to share with others our struggles and victories (1:15), It’s important to learn from others (4:47), the importance of taking trips (away) together (16:30), knowing is good, but it’s more important to make a decision to lead your marriage everyday (27:59), my opinion on mentoring, accountability partners and apprenticeship (32:12) and we also touch on keeping it real/transparent as well as a few fireside stories from our trip.
